Chimichurri Sauce

I love adding this sauce to our steaks or other meats. It gives it a freshness that sometimes is needed. Also is great during the summer.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of cilantro chopped

  • 1/2 bunch of parsley chopped

  • Half a lemon juiced and the zested.

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 3 cloves of garlic.

  • 1tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes


Directions

1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.

2. Pulse while slowly adding in the olive oil.

3. If the sauce is too liquid add more cilantro and parsley.
