Clotted Cream

This is one of my favorite things to make but it is a little time consuming.

Ingredients

  • 1quart heavy whipping cream. It can’t be ultra pasteurized.

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 170

  2. Pour heavy cream into a 9x13 baking dish

  3. Bake for 12 hours

  4. Pull out of oven and leave on counter until room temp.

  5. Place in the fridge for 8 hours. Once cooled you can scrap the top layer off. If too thick for you add a little of the bottom liquid to it.

Can be saved in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
